Guests need to have a Festival Pass bought before August 31, 2017

Let's greet our teachers on their first outing to the Festival before our first dance event. Let's share a drink and a conversation with them and other participants while listening to Megan Yvonne, the Perola group vocalist.

We are very happy you decided to be part of this new event that we engineered for welcoming you and our teachers to our beloved town. A little different event, where you will have a chance, before getting completely immersed in the Tango obsession, to familiarize yourself with Portland.

It will provide a nice way to ease into the Festival, relax, socialize, get to meet new and old friends coming from all over the country and meet our fabulous instructors in a different environment. It will give us a chance to engage in stimulating discussions with them while sharing a nice cocktail and delicious ore de douvres offered by Vibrant Table.

Megan Yvonne

Perola is a regionally popular five piece band playing Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and Argentine Tango. We are thrilled to welcome them again to PTF, straight off a month-long West coast tour.

Led by tango vocalist Megan Yvonne, this band will have you swaying in your seats and dreaming of your next trip south of the border. Members include Tim Morgan (classical guitar), Joel Morrissette (guitar, mandolin and tres), Cliff Jetton (trumpet, trombone and flugel horn), and James Delaney (double bass).

THE F&B CAFE Art House

As part of the cafe division of Vibrant table, the F&B Cafe Arthouse is a lovely coffee shop located in the Pearl district, in the North West part of town just on the other side of the Burnside Bridge. Immersed in the greeneryof the Park blocks and close to the PNCA art school, it has a very nice environment and offers great coffee and excellent food at affordable prices. fandbcafe.com.

It's impossible to say enough good things about Vibrant Table catering. Their well-earned reputation for the best food, beautifully made from fresh, local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients sourced from local farmers and providers is enough to thrill us. However, they have been extremely generous with Portland Tango Festival for the last three years as a festival sponsor.
