Sunday 7pm - The Treasury Ballroom
 326 SW Broadway (Parking information)

For the third year in a row, the Portland Tango Festival hosts an intimate evening of entertainment, with a beautiful, locally-sourced dinner from Vibrant Table catering. There will be live music with local Latin jazz band Perola, and a panel discussion with our teachers. This is your chance to take a break and relax, socialize off the dance floor, listen to one of Portland’s favorite bands, and engage in stimulating discussion with our guest teachers.

Are you curious about the future of tango?

Have you been dying to ask your teachers a question but haven’t been able to catch them at a good time?

In this informal setting, you will have a chance to write questions on note cards and generate discussion among the Portland Tango Festival instructors on important topics facing tango today.

Don’t miss the chance to break bread with friends from far and near at the Sunday dinner. Tickets can be purchased on this page. Note that if you have a full Festival Pass or a Milonga Pass, your dinner ticket is included.

Please note that this event has limited seating and sold out last year.

Perola is a regionally popular five piece band playing Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and Argentine Tango. We are thrilled to welcome them again to PTF, straight off a month-long West coast tour.

Led by tango vocalist Megan Yvonne, this band will have you swaying in your seats and dreaming of your next trip south of the border. Members include Tim Morgan (classical guitar), Joel Morrissette (guitar, mandolin and tres), Cliff Jetton (trumpet, trombone and flugel horn), and James Delaney (double bass).

Join us for a delicious evening of food, music, and friendship at Portland’s most Buenos Aires like event space, the Treasury Ballroom. Located in the West side of town in the vault of the historic US bank building. in the heart of the beautiful city of Portland that everyone is talking about.

It's impossible to say enough good things about Vibrant Table catering. Their well-earned reputation for the best food, beautifully made from fresh, local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients sourced from local farmers and providers is enough to thrill us. However, they have been extremely generous with PTF for the last two years as a festival sponsor. If we haven't said it yet, this dinner happens because of Vibrant Table and we couldn't be happier to share this experience with you.
